This strategy game places players in the role of an ancient Celtic Arach, a mythical Celtic Dragon, commanding a diverse army of animals equipped with unique abilities. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing for competitive matches against AI opponents or human adversaries.
The player's Dragon character possesses powerful magic fireballs and healing abilities, which are essential tools for leading the army to victory. The Wyvern, similarly, wields a magical fireball capable of inflicting significant damage on formidable foes.
A diverse range of units provides strategic variety: the Unicorn and Wulver serve as healers and attackers with biting capabilities; the Lion and Bear deliver formidable claw attacks; the Elephant acts as an invulnerable tank; and the Eagle offers aerial reconnaissance and harassment of enemy forces.
Players can enhance their defenses by strategically placing terrain features such as Mountains and Volcanoes. Positioning units on Volcanoes amplifies their magical powers, adding further tactical depth to the gameplay.
